The program is funded by Alberta Health Services. There are no costs for participants.

Meaningful Support
We help participants build skills and enhance relationships.


What to Expect
A Family Coach typically meets with families once a week for approximately 12 to 16 weeks to provide skill building support and enhance relationships.
Services may include:

Parenting strategies and information
-
Information about diagnosis and behaviors

Referrals to community programs

Information about applicable community resources
-
Support and advocacy during personal appointments or with community partners
Mental Health Family Support provides in-home parenting support, education, and advocacy for families receiving services from Alberta Health Services - Addiction and Mental Health.

How to Access
the Program
All referrals are made by AHS Mental Health Therapists. The program is voluntary, and service participants must meet specific criteria set by Mental Health Therapists.
